Travel Officer

The Forum Fisheries Agency is seeking an energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with the relevant experience and qualification to join our Corporate Services Team in the position of Travel Officer. Travel requirements and processes have evolved tremendously in the last 3 years and if you are a person that thrives on new challenges, this is the right position for you. 

The Travel Officer is responsible for all travel bookings and tickets for FFA staff, consultants, officials from FFA member governments and FFA funded participants to regional and international meetings and events. In addition, the position will also provide administration support for workshops and meetings. The Travel Officer is a Position Advertised Locally (PAL) and a 4 year contract is offered to the successful candidate.  

Key Result Areas for the role include but not limited to the following-:

1. Responsible for facilitating travel arrangements and providing travel advice;

2. Financial Management/Payments in areas of responsibilities for the position; and

3. Effective Administration in areas of responsibilities for the position. 

About You

To be eligible for consideration, you must possess a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Management or a combination of relevant specialised training plus 3 years of relevant experience. Detailed requirements are provided in the Selection Criteria section of the HR1 Application Form. 


Excellent remuneration package with a minimum base salary of SBD$79,697.00 per annum, and an annual housing allowance of SBD$72,000.00 paid on a monthly basis at SBD$6,000.00 per month. Other benefits include reasonable medical care for the successful candidates and dependents.
