Request For Quotes - Study of Covid19 impact on Women and Marginalised groups Working in the Pacific Tuna Industry.
The purpose of this study will be to understand the socio-economic impact of Covid-19 on women and other marginalised groups of the population working in the tuna industry.
Specifically, the study will look at:
The impact of global Covid19 measures (eg. Border closures, travel restrictions, international transportation (shipping and sea-freight) restrictions, etc.) and national precautionary measures against the spread of COVID19 (lockdowns, quarantines, vaccination drives etc) on;
a) Income and output of employers in the tuna industry
b) Effect of (a) on their employees incomes and employment (men and women-including the youth and those living with disabilities).
c) Tuna availability and sale.
d) Experience with gender-based violence
e) Other social impacts related to children's education, family health care and other aspects.
