The Forum Fisheries Agency invites applications for the position of Surveillance Operations Assistant. Advertised locally and open to residents of Solomon Islands only the following are some of the key reponsibilities for the successful candidate-:

1. Provide efficient and effective management of the Regional Fisheries Surveillance Centre (RFSC);

2. Database and information management; 

3. Efficient and effective communication for information;

4. Capacity building; and

5. Ensure effective and efficient use of cooperative framework for surveillance and enforcement activities. 

The successful candidate must possess a tertiary qualification in maritime affairs or fisheries related field, with at least four years technical experience in Maritime/Fisheries enforcement.
