The Forum Fisheries Agency is inviting applications from energetic, self-motivated and dynamic professionals with the relevant credentials to become part of our Fisheries Operations Division leading the InformationTechnology team. The role is being offered on a 3 year contract and is based in Honiara Solomon Islands. 

The position of Manager - Information Technology provides a challenging and exciting opportunity to be a part of our ICT Team, responsible for leading and managing the FFA's Information and Communication Technology functions.

Specifically the Manager - Information Technology is responsible for leading and managing a team of 8 staff members including staffing, performance management, procurement, planning and budgeting; providing leadership and guidance on the FFA's cybersecurity posture including the implementation and compliance monitoring of the FFA Information Security Management System, providing overall project management guidance on ICT related projects, providing technical guidance to the Librarian and Media Officer on the Secretariat's library and information services including the website and intranet and providing on the job training and coaching for staff and external training where required. 

The successful applicant will be expected to have a Graduate qualification in ICT, computer science, information systems, networking or a related field. 

An attractive remuneration package at Band 12 of the FFA Salary Structure will be provided to the successful applicant.
