The Forum Fisheries Agency is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic professional with the relevant credentials to become part of our Monitoring, Control and Surveillance Team. 

The position of Compliance Policy Adviser offers a challenging and exciting opportunity to be part of a professional team which assists FFA members further develop their strategic fisheries compliance policies.   A particular focus of this post is interaction with the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) office in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.

The successful applicant is expected to have a tertiary degree in marine policy, fisheries science, fisheries management and/or natural resources management or other qualifications relevant to the demands of the role as well as; at least 5 years of progressive experience in government or multi-disciplinary environment relevant to fisheries operations preferably in tuna fisheries.

An attractive remuneration package at Band 12 of the FFA Salary Structure will be provided to the successful applicant. The starting salary with basic allowances is at USD$78,545. The salary is tax free for nationals of most countries and there are additional allowances and benefits. See details provided for full information on the employment package offered.
