FINANCIAL AUDIT SERVICES

 

Tender Request

 

The Forum Fisheries Agency is seeking to engage an external auditor for:

·        

The Agency’s 2014/15 and 2015/16 annual financial statements,

·        

2015 and 2016 Multilateral Fishery Treaty annual financial statements,

 

Proposals are now sought from suitably qualified audit firms for the job. The criteria against which the proposals will be assessed include the following:

 

·        

Technical capability of the bidding firm

·        

Capability of personnel assigned (Assigned personnel should have demonstrated experience in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)

·        

Methodology proposed. ( This should include amongst others the proposed scope of audit, planning and conduct of audit and its approach to communication with FFA and the Audit Committee)

·        

Ability to complete audits in a time frame that enables FFA to comply with its financial reporting deadlines; and

·        

Price. (Price may be quoted in United States Dollars(USD) or Solomon Dollars(SBD)

 

The successful auditor is expected to be appointed in November 2015, for a period of two years.
