Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency Regional Catch Documentation Scheme (CDS) Framework

Catch Documentation Scheme (CDS) is a system of certification and traceability used in the management of fisheries to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. The FFA Regional CDS Framework objective states that ‘CDS has the primary objective to ensure the legality of Pacific caught tuna and supporting validity and traceability of this catch through the supply chain, from the point of harvest through to the final market’.
